The Principal & Proprietor
Maxeen Morgan
Miss Morgan is a qualified and highly experienced Primary educator obtaining her Bachelors and Masters Honours degrees from the London Southbank University; also completing her Early Years Practitioner Degree, being awarded Adult Learner of the Year by National Institute of Adults Continuing Education (NIACE) and interviewed for the progress from bus driver to educator by The Times Educational Supplement.
Miss Morgan has had extensive experience in the Primary and Nursery education profession, from Undergraduate Student Teacher to Assistant Headteacher and a consultant at primary schools and other settings in south London. Miss Morgan is now the proprietor of nursery provisions both in London, UK and Montego Bay, Jamaica applying her excellent standards across all aspects of NEST Montego Bay for your child.
In addition to her outstanding teaching career, Miss Morgan has worked as a Police Officer, Theatre Manager Assistant, Retail Assistant in Harrods, Transport for London Bus Driver and Civil Servant in Highways Maintenance.
Miss Morgan’s longstanding childhood ambition to help others first manifested as a desire to become a doctor. Since moving to England at the age of 14 and seeing the difficulties faced by many children and parents, Miss Morgan felt drawn to be productive to the needs of children by fostering, adopting and teaching before establishing her own business in providing world class nursery care and primary education.
Miss Morgan firmly believes that a loving, professional and specialist foundation for a child’s experience of learning experiences will profoundly influence and shape their belief in themselves, their abilities and their ambitions for their future path in life.
Miss Morgan and her team at NEST are very much looking forward to working with you and your family to care for and educate your child in a provision second to none.
The NEST team consists of more than 25 members, all of who are valued, respected and appreciated equally. We have both male and female members of staff from different generations, with a range of experience and expertise.
Something that all our staff members have in common is a passion and love for what they do. This is imperative at NEST.

School board
NEST has a NEST support team currently with ten members. This is to help the school see things from different perspectives, discuss, share opinions, bounce ideas and ultimately make decisions that are in the best interest of the school and all those associated with it. All support members have a vested interest in the school and the development of it, but also a passion for the progress and growth of Jamaica.
First Aid
All of our staff members are trained in paediatric and adult first aid.
Fully equipped first aid boxes (Health Department Guidelines) are labelled, visible and available in all appropriate areas of the premises and are regularly checked and re-stocked. They are not accessible to children.
Security
The children are kept in a secure area, away from cars, and access to the school premises is not available to the public. You must be checked and signed off by security before entering.
Security is provided by King Alarm.
Confidentiality & security of data
We have very strict confidentiality policies. We will not discuss you or your children with anyone outside of the School. We will also ensure that your personal data is secure. Paper records are locked in secure cabinets in the office and can only be accessed by the manager and deputy managers.
Data on our computer system is also protected by anti-virus, firewall and email security programmes. Again, this information is accessible only by the manager and deputy managers. Information is disclosed to other members of staff on a need to know basis only.
